Purpose of the Job

The successful candidate, reporting to the Group Risk Manager, will provide administrative support to the Group Risk Department, including Group Health and Safety, Group Information Security, and Group Risk.


Key Performance Areas include the following:
General
Financial Management
Group Risk
Primary support to the Group Risk Manager.
Administrative support to the Risk and continuity officer.
Group Health and Safety
Administrative support to the Group Health and Safety Department.
Group Information Security
Administrative support to the Group Information Security officer.

Job Objectives

Financial Management

  • Obtain all invoices related to the Group Risk Department due for payment.
  • Consolidate all invoices and disseminate such invoices to the respective Group manager.

Group Risk

Provide primary support to the Group Risk Manager;

  • Monitoring and management of the GRM’s inbox.
  • Management of the telephone line to the GRM.

Group Health & Safety

General administrative and clerical functions;

  • Uploading of system-generated reports from the electronic platforms to the ERM platform.

Qualifications
  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12),
  • Driver’s licence – Essential,
  • Tertiary education – A Certificate or National Diploma in Office Administration will be advantageous.

Experience
  • Minimum of on year's administrative experience.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – fluency in English and at least one other official language,
  • Detail oriented,
  • Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint),
  • Computer literacy in the MS Suite (Sharepoint, Teams, One Drive and Power BI) – Desirable.
  • Knowledgeable on the companies processes, policies and procedures.
